Observe any roadside parking zone. One may have noticed many motorists tend to get into their cars, start their vehicles, swing their car out onto the road and then pay the parking attendant, successfully blocking traffic behind them. I often wonder why can they not pay the attendant, and then drive out smoothly causing minimum disturbance. For some, it simply may be trying to save a few bucks, hoping to negotiate their way out before the parking attendant notices their exit.
But for most that would not be the case. Simple thoughtlessness perhaps? Or the basic instinct to take it as it comes?
Whatever it may be, in narrow roads especially, it causes irritation and inconvenience to motorists behind them.
Being a considerate motorist pays back much more than what you invest.
