I had the wonderful opportunity to present a copy of my The Great Indian Railway Atlas to the union minister for Railways, Mr Ashwini Vaishnaw. at Rail Bhawan on Thursday 06 July 2023. I had been informed by officials that the Minister would like to meet me if possible.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for the Atlas, and the online version of the map for its website, which Indian Railways had asked me to create and is currently on its website.
Mr Vaishnaw’s warmth and kindness was most impressive.
